How to Reach Faizabad Hills Tea Resort

By public road transport
By public transport:
A/C, Non A/C bus to Moulvibazaar available from Sayedabad. They will directly drop you at ‘Amtali Tea Garden’ if requested (for details, please see the following map). It is right after the Rahsidpur Gas Field. A/C bus will cost around BDT 350/- per head. Traveling time: Approx. 4 hours from Sayedabad.
Tips:
1. Number of A/C busses are limited in Dhaka - Moulvibazar route. So you need to plan for an A/C bus journey.
2. Non A/C busses are available almost every half an hour, so just get to the bus stand, locate the counters, purchase the tickets and hop on to the bus!
By train
Daily three train services available between Dhaka-Sylhet. Purchase ticket for Sreemangal and get down at the designated place. It will take approx. 4 hours to reach destination from Dhaka. Reach Amtali TE by public or hired vehicle (can be arranged by bungalow authority against payment), will take approx. 20 mins from Srimanagal to Amtali TE. A/C chair cabin will cost approx. BDT 400/- per person.
Tip: Train tickets are of high demand and so you have to purchase ticket well in advance.
By private vehicle
Dhaka has two main exit routes to Sylhet. 1. through Tongi and 2. through Kaachpur. It will take approx. 3 and half hours from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (if driven through Tongi- Kaligonj- Narshingdi road). After moving through Dhaka-Sylhet highway (N2) till Shayestaganj (Habiganj), drive approx. five km after crossing Shayestaganj Bridge and ‘Khowai chattar’, take the right turn at the ‘Y’ junction to Moulvibazaar (the straight road leads to Sylhet). The distance is approximately 10 km from ‘Mirpur Bazaar’ to Amtali Tea Estate, located right after Rashidpur Gas Field.
Take the left soil road through the gate straight up through the hill. Follow the road till the bungalows, the second bungalow is your destination!
Tip: Locating the Y junction at Mirpur bazar can be a bit tricky, so keep your eyes open after crossing the Shayestaganj bridge.
By plane
You need to get down at Sylhet Airport. Manage one vehicle and start for ANR. The traveling time between Sylhet and ANR is approx. 1 hour over Sylhet- Moulvibazar highway.
